sophie

when she is still and the sunlight is reflected in her eyes...that is when i know...

that she lives in this world, feels in this world....

....that she sees in this world with a gentle soul.

She definitely has a gentle soul and a lot of followers. Love your photos as always.

Great pictures. Reminded me of a picture of the fastest dog in the world that I want to post...although it was the dog of my son's ex-girlfriend and his current wife will have a fit. But I'll find a place to sneak it in somewhere.

I am pretty partial to a border collie - you have posted lovely shots.

Of course, having borders, this is a face I know and love. Just LOOK at that!

Andrea I've been having a look at Sophie and she is so like our Kealia in body build and facial features. Kealia is a bit overweight at present - not enough runs in the heat...

I love dogs, all dogs, but I seem to have an affinity with Border Collie's!! I share my life with a 4yr old that I've had since she was 12 weeks. She's small, but wild and intensely intelligent. She is completely different in character to my last collie, more intent on getting on with business than being being warm and squishy!

Anyway, love your blogs. :)

My Border Collie mix Buffy has been a wonderful companion for the last 12 years. I got her as a birthday present for my husband to get him out waking. I took her out in the mornings and he took her out in the evenings. Just about every child we ran into on our walks want to pet her as she is such a soft friendly dog.

Andrea,

What a great way to celebrate the life of Charlie. It reminds me of my poor Bailey that we had to put to rest last year. He survived for 9 years with only 3 legs after being hit by a car at the age of 6 months. He was Rotti Sheppard, not sure if you remember him from the petsmart days. We miss him dearly.

Thanks for sharing these stories,

Melissa
